Val's Flower Shop was established in 1978 by some New York residents that decided to settle in this area. Val and his wife owned and managed the shop until they decided to retire in 2004. At that time, the shop was sold to an Easley girl that had grown up getting her prom flowers and floral bouqets from Val's Flower Shop. Val and his wife stayed involved for several years while they showed her the ropes. Almost 15 years later, the shop is still going strong and growing.
Michelle is a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in accounting and spent many years in the world of finance and accounting but decided years ago she was best suited to run her own business. So Val's Flower Shop was really her first foray into the world of entrepreneurship. Since then Michelle has added other businesses to her portfolio but she still is very active in the day to day operations of Val's Flower Shop. Michelle's business motto is to offer a quality product, designed using current trends and at a fair price. Val's tries its very best to continue to be Easley's first choice for flowers. So whether you need flowers sent around the world or just around the corner, Val's Flower Shop is here to help.
When Michelle is not running the flower shop or one of her other businesses, you can usually find her at home working on one of her many home improvement projects. She enjoys being outside and is an avid bicycler and kayaker. She is a lover of all God's creatures, big and small, and shares her home with a golden retriever mix, Ben, a Yorkshire Terrier that is really the boss, Jesse, a Corgi/retriever mix, Sam, a chocolate lab/pit mix, Pete, and a host of stray cats that decided to call her house home.
